Built for founders who want to be ready

A good fit if the opportunity is close, and the paperwork is not.

One founder described building a business as something that happens “step by step,” and said, “I want to be prepared when the opportunity comes to me.” That is the point of this session.

Founders frequently need help with operating agreements, employment contracts, NDAs, cap tables, investor preparation, entity conversion, and ownership documentation as they move toward outside investment.

You do not need to fix everything today

There are rarely enough hours to address every issue at once.

Trying to do everything can leave the most important work unfinished. For bootstrap founders, the legal plan also has to make business sense. The focus is not paperwork for its own sake. It is a structure that supports profitability.

What protects the business now

The few issues that can actually hurt you if they sit.

What prepares you for the next opportunity

The documents and decisions worth doing before the customer, hire, or raise shows up.

What can reasonably wait

Work that is real, but not the thing that should come first.

What support you actually need

A single session, a document review, or a longer engagement. Not all three by default.

How it works

Pay first. Then book the call, or send the document.

  1. 01

    Choose your service

    A 30-minute session, a 60-minute roadmap session, or a document-only review.

  2. 02

    Share the background

Tell us the question, the goal, any deadline, and who else is involved. Document review includes the file itself.

  3. 03

    Pay, then book

Payment comes first. Session clients then get a link to book a private video call. We meet on Roam, a secure video platform. Document review has no meeting. You upload the file and we send the review.

  4. 04

    Move forward with a plan

You leave with clearer options, defined priorities, and a practical next step.

Before you book

Straight answers.

What happens after I pay?

For a session, the confirmation page shows your scheduling link for a private video call. We meet on Roam, a secure video platform. For document review, there is no meeting. We review the file you uploaded and email written comments. Turnaround is [X business days].

What should I prepare?

Your primary question, any real deadline, and the names of other parties if a contract or dispute is involved. Document review is one document of up to 10 pages. You confirm the page count before you pay.

What if this needs more than one session?

These are limited-scope consultations, not a general retainer. If the work needs ongoing counsel or a full document set, we will say so. Fractional CLO retainers and document packages are separate engagements. Nothing on this page guarantees a particular outcome.

Does paying make you my lawyer for everything?

Payment covers the session or the document review you selected. It does not create an open-ended attorney-client relationship. A broader engagement requires a separate agreement.

Get clear before the opportunity arrives.

Growth brings bigger customers, more valuable contracts, funding, and greater scrutiny. Preparation helps you meet those opportunities with the right documents already in place.
